Colony Homes Payment Assurance Plan

Colony Homes is excited to announce a new partnership with our builders and retailers. We call it the Payment Assurance Plan, and it is our contribution to helping you own a new home.

If your builder or retailer participates in the Colony Payment Assurance Plan, and if you qualify for the Plan, Colony Factory Crafted homes will pay up to 4 months of your mortgage payments if you are involuntarily laid off. There are some terms and conditions that apply, so make sure you talk with your Colony Homes builder for more information.

We believe our builders and retailers are the best in the business. We believe our homes are exceptionally well-built, with the ability to customize to meet your unique dreams. Now with the Payment Assurance Plan, we hope that now is the right time to buy a new Colony Home.

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009

Signed into law on February, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act authorizes a tax credit of up to $8,000 for qualified first-time home buyers purchasing a principal residence on or after January 1, 2009 and before December 1, 2009.

Briefly, the tax credit is for first-time home buyers only and does not have to be repaid. The tax credit is equal to 10 percent of the home's purchase price up to a maximum of $8,000. The credit is available for homes purchased on or after January 1, 2009 and before December 1, 2009. There are some additional qualifications related to income and length of time in the home.

Registering an Account with Colony Homes

NEW to Colony Homes website March 2009, is the capability to register and save information about homes that you are interested in. Click the “Register” link in the top right corner of any page through-out Colony ’s website and you can start to build a home of your dreams. You will be able save and customize homes with options that are available, contact builders and download PDF brochures of homes of homes that you are interested in and receive information from Colony Homes via e-mail if you choose. Keep checking back in the future, for more new exciting things are to come for you and your journey in buying a home.
